Airspace: Arts Summer School at Lighthouse

Welcome to Airspace! A summer school for young people.We are really pleased to be running Airspace this summer and hope that all those involved will have a great time and enjoy being creative with the different art forms on offer.

Airspace is being curated by Lighthouse's Resident Artist Niki McCretton, and we are looking forward to two energetic weeks with great creativity and exploration with different art forms. There is a youth choir, a writer’s group, film-making, circus arts and creative making workshops and a chance to share, perform or have your work filmed.

Creative summer workshops with Artsreach There’s no need for children and young people to be at a loose end in rural Dorset this summer – Artsreach has put together a varied programme of creative activities for young people of all ages to enjoy over the holidays.

Following on from the success of last year’s Artsreach summer workshop programme,‘Go Global’, this year’s ‘Holiday Fun’ programme covers a wide range of creative disciplines including dance, crafts, puppetry, animation, music, photography and even creative cookery!

Activate now have a Youth TheatreNet group and a Youth DanceNet group on Facebook. We hope these groups will provide great networking opportunities and also keep you up to date on what is happening in Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole.
