Nights of ‘scratch’ theatre and dance across Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole. Local artists/companies tried out extracts of work and work in progress to audiences open to new ideas. The evenings consisted of music, magic and a taste of some theatre and dance being made in Dorset.
Growbags were hosted by Dorchester Arts Centre, Weymouth College, Bridport Arts Centre and Lighouse.

4th July at Lighthouse, Poole
We are proud to be programming a showcase of the best Theatre and Dance that our county has to offer.
We will be hand picking 6 artists & companies for this unique
day of performance. The
Lighthouse will play host to live music, short films, and a combination
of theatre and dance
performances by professional companies.
Each company/artist performing is ready to tour
at a regional, national and international level. This event will provide
local professionals a chance to be seen by some of the countries leading
arts promoters, programmers and performers. Supporting artists is
a fundamental part of our work and this project will provide opportunities
for crucial
development of new work.
