PERFORMING ARTS CLUB FOR ADULTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITY

This is a group for people who enjoy learning theatre skills - acting,
singing, dancing, creating stories and making their own songs. We meet in
Cranborne Village Hall on Wednesdays from 2.00 - 5.00 p.m. and our next term
will start on Wednesday January 6th. The group is well-staffed by 2
professional theatre / music workshop leaders and 2 care assistants, all
fully CRB checked and experienced in working with learning disability.
We run a series of 10 workshops each term and give 2 public performances a
year. We work with lighting, costume and set and are also able to access the
facilities and equipment of the 2 Cranborne Youth Theatres. We also have a
wide variety of musical instruments which are used regularly in sessions.
