The company explores timeless human stories through reminiscence encouraging the development of female roles and new writing, employing regional professionals whilst creating intimate, touching work; accessible to a diverse audience.

To compliment touring AsOne facilitates educational-community projects and workshops sometimes leading to performance.

Bourne Rep Theatre Company

Bourne Rep Theatre Company was formed in 2005 by Victoria Semple with a policy of producing quality, interesting, and challenging drama in and around Bournemouth. Bourne Rep has rapidly established itself as a fresh, exciting, and dynamic company.

In our first year we have produced four plays all with fantastic reviews. We promise to always offer a varied programme with a mixture of genres. Bourne Rep is keen to showcase new writing and will produce a new play each year.

The company is made up of seventeen actors, four writers, three musicians, and three drama teachers. All of which are professional. There has been no other company like this in the local area so this really is an exciting time for the Arts in Bournemouth.

Bourne Rep want to always be a company that people can rely on for an enjoyable evening of entertainment that makes you think and hopefully walk away from it feeling a little changed. In order to achieve this, we are always on the look out for new ideas. If you have any suggestions of the sort of theatre you would like to see please get in contact with us.

In the next year we hope to expand the number of shows from four to six. In order to do this we are on the look out for talented, professional directors, new playwrights (especially women) and fresh new talent. We want to try out even more styles and ideas. STORM
Storm run classes in commercial street,hip hop theatre,break dance,contemporary,musical theatre,ballet,tap,modern and drama ages 4yrs to adult.
Storm also run a performing arts school and run a street/pole dance class called fusion.
They get all students involved in show and platform work along with competitions for students who wish to dance or drama to a higher level.
Workshops and performers for shows are available from storm.

Swerve Dance Theatre Company

Swerve Dance Theatre Company are a company of 6 beautiful dancers led by Helen Ganberg
We devise and perform accessible and exciting dance theatre often working with collaborators in film, music and design. We are currently planning a 2010 tour of Stories to tell- a new show of vibrant and breathaking work for young people and adults. Dorset Corset Theatre Company was founded in 2006 with a desire to tell stories in an engaging and exciting way; to breathe new life into classics. Treehouse Theatre

We are a professional Theatre Company, mostly specialising in Theatre in Education, and concentrating on performances that audiences take part in.

A Play-In-A-Day is for Key Stage 2 children and helps the teaching of the History curriculum, all children playing parts in a show that takes place with a morningís preparation.

A Play-in-an-Hour is offered to all educational institutions, as well as other non-theatre venues. Our actors help the audience with the creation of a new story, which is then performed as a play by the actors and any members of the audience who want to participate, in the round.

We also offer Dramatic Storytelling with music to pre-school children.

In 2007 we are also planning some professional scripted theatre performances, again in the round, including a short piece for performances at festivals and country shows that will use an innovative combination of writing and acting to produce a scripted play that will never be the same twice.

Our aim is to use theatre to encourage audiences and actors alike to fulfil themselves creatively.

Udifydance Education | Performance

Udifydance Company is an all male contemporary dance company co-founded by Chay Burrows and Christopher Reynolds. Their style is an eclectic mix of exciting floor work infused with the creation of a dynamic vocabulary. Since co-founding Udifydance Company in January 2008, Chay and Chris have been creating dance works for youth companies, schools, colleges and universities, specialising in boys dance. Their core youth company, Accelerate Youth Dance have just completed their first piece 'a crowd so quick...' and will be touring throughout May 2009 along the South Coast and Isle of Wight.

Professionally both Chay and Chris have much experience in choreography working with companies such as Bedlam Dance, Lila Dance and Dance United to name but a few. Udifydance Company had their London Debut in 2008 with 'PleX' to some great reviews, they are currently working on their second piece 'function' (working title).
